VOTE!

Today is the Primary Election, as well as, the school board election.  Don’t forget to vote!  Polls are open 7am – 7pm.

Polling Locations:

Batesland Precinct: Oglala Lakota County Schools

Cuny Table Precinct: Red Shirt School

Kyle Precinct: Kyle CAP Office

Manderson Precinct: Manderson CAP Office

Oglala Precinct: Brother Renee Hall

Pine Ridge #1 & #3 Precincts: Billy Mills Hall

Porcupine Precinct: Porcupine School Gym

Rockyford Precinct: Singing Horse Trading Post

 

Vote Early!

Absentee voting for the 2018 Primary election has begun!  In Oglala Lakota County you may vote at the SuAnne Big Crow Center in Pine Ridge or at Fall River County Courthouse in Hot Springs from now to June 4th.  Please bring a photo ID with you. The both locations are open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (closed Memorial Day).

Absentee voters can also apply for a ballot by mail.  This form must be filled out and mailed to the Auditor’s Office:

Those wishing to register or change their voter registration information have until May 21st.

Taxes Due – April 30th

First half property taxes, as well as, all special assessments are due by April 30th.

In addition, all taxes under $50 are due and payable in full on or before April 30th.  Please bring your tax payment stubs with you or include them in your envelope if you are paying by mail. If you would like a tax receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Tax payments MUST be postmarked by April 30th, or interest is automatically applied. Please notify our office of any changes to your mailing address.
