Sheriff Deputy
Oglala Lakota County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Sheriff Deputy. Law enforcement officers are required to work odd hours and be subject to call out and will work and assigned shifts which will consist of, day or night, holidays and weekends.
Officers are required to work in all types of weather and may be subject to adverse or hazardous working conditions posed to all Law Enforcement personnel. The position requires SD State Certification for Law Enforcement which if not already obtained, will be provided and completed in Pierre, SD to a successful applicant. This position is supervised, and employment is at the discretion of the County Sheriff who is the designated person for proper deployment of County Law Enforcement Services in Oglala Lakota County.
