Important notice regarding property taxes.

First 1/2 property taxes are due by April 30th, 2022 to avoid interest.
Multiple ways to pay:
* By phone (additional fees for using card over the phone)
* By mail – Must be postmarked April 30th or before to avoid interest.
* Stop by the Treasurer’s Office
* Secured drop box attached to building outside the Sheriff’s Office
Reminder if you are not paying in person and would like a returned receipt please provide a postage paid envelope for return.

 

Assessment Notices have been Mailed

Assessment notices for Oglala Lakota County are in the mail.  If you do not receive an assessment notice for you property by the 2nd week of March please contact our office, 605-745-5136 or [email protected].

Appeal deadlines approach quickly so if you believe your property to be assessed higher than you could sell it on the open market please contact our office.

Late Start – Courthouse

The Oglala Lakota and Fall River County Courthouse in Hot Springs will have a 2 hour late start on Tuesday, February 22nd 2022, due to winter weather.  The courthouse will open at 10:00am.
